EarthenArt Rocks was born in Mankato, Minnesota with Meggy, Craig, and Bjorn. We began exploring with the Minnesota Rock & Mineral Club back in 1998.

Meggy moved to America in 1976, chased storms in the ’80s, and later turned to the safer pursuit of rock macrophotography. Even during her long and brave fight with cancer, she kept hunting for rocks and mushrooms and capturing nature’s hidden beauty.

The prints you see on our site were all photographed by Meggy.

EarthenArt.rocks remains a family project: Bjorn built the website and Craig welcomes fellow enthusiasts to visit our extensive rock collection in Mankato (though we don’t currently have a storefront). We’re also happy to arrange wholesale rock sales — sharing the wonder that first inspired us.
