Meggy & Craig ordered a variety of rocks from people at the big show in Tuscon, Arizona. There was a mixup with this particular specimin - we were expecting a different shipment and received this one by mistake. Regardless, it's a beautiful desert rose and we were happy to receive it.

Desert rose rocks are unique, rose-shaped crystal clusters of gypsum or barite, often containing sand grains, that form in arid, sandy environments through the evaporation of shallow salt basins.
